Me - Chad. Chad. CHAD. HONEY. WAKE UP.
Chad - Mumbles
Me - I think there is something wrong with my car.
Chad - Why?
Me - Because it is on fire.
That is when Chad jumps out of bed and runs out to look at it. Should I call the fire department I say - He says no, he can handle it. I get the fire extinguisher - that doesn't work so I call 911 (a.k.a. MY WORK). After that frantic phone call, Chad and I try pushing the car away from the house. Try putting it in gear then pushing it away from the house. Chad gets the skidloader and SHOVES it away from the house. We go inside - tires start to blow - we get behind a wall. And wait. And wait. And Wait. FINALLY fire trucks come rolling in and eventually get the fire put out. From the time I called 911 to the time the fire department went on scene - 9 minutes. Not bad for it being 12:45 am and living 6 miles outside of town. And remember, this was a volunteer fire department - they had to wake up, get out of their house, go to the station, put their turnout gear on, and drive to my house. THANK YOU!!
There is a fuzzy picture at the bottom - Chad was in the process of moving it
The top picture - above the date is my rear drivers side tire
